What we keep.And what we don’t.

What you give us. When you request an audit or quote, or send a message, we receive your name, email, phone number, business name, website address and anything you write in the form.

What the site records. Pages visited, how you arrived, device and browser type, and an approximate location based on your IP address. This comes from analytics cookies and is not tied to your name.

Calls and email. If you call or email us, we keep the message and our reply, the same as any business would.

Our team, and the services that run this site for us, like hosting, email, form handling and analytics. They process data on our behalf and aren’t allowed to use it for anything else.

We don’t sell your information, rent it or trade it for leads. We share it beyond those services only if the law requires us to.

We use a small number of cookies for analytics and to keep forms working. You can block or clear them in your browser settings. The site still works without them.

Form submissions and emails stay as long as we’re talking, or as long as you’re a client, plus whatever period tax and business records require. Analytics data is kept in summary form.

You can ask to see what we have on you, correct it, or delete it. Email team@grindstonedesign.com and a person will handle it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

To stop follow-up emails, reply and say so. We’ll stop.

The site runs over HTTPS, and access to submissions is limited to our team. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send passwords or payment details through the forms.

This site is for businesses. It isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
