Wilton Wings & Pizza
A custom WordPress website and local SEO for a Fort Lauderdale wings and pizza restaurant.
Wilton Wings & Pizza has served Fort Lauderdale since 2007, with a second location in Sunrise. Most customers find it on a phone. We built a custom WordPress website that loads fast and puts online ordering one tap away. Local SEO helps it show up when people nearby search for wings.
Fort Lauderdale, FL
The brief
A restaurant website with the menu and ordering first.
The menu and the order button are on the first screen, next to the food photography. Regulars already knew the rooster logo and the red, so we kept them and cleaned up the type around them.
Project summary
What we built for Wilton Wings & Pizza.
Wilton Wings & Pizza has served Fort Lauderdale, Florida, since 2007, with a second location in Sunrise. Most customers find it on a phone. Grindstone Design built a custom WordPress website without a page builder, so it loads fast, and runs its local SEO. Online ordering is one tap from the homepage, and the order button stays on screen on every menu page. The ordering menu matches the printed one, with wings by count, flavors by heat level and pizzas by size. Each location has its own page with its phone number, directions and late-night hours. We kept the rooster logo and cleaned up the files. The same red and type carry over to the Google Business Profile, which we keep current with photos, hours and menu links.
Website
A custom WordPress website designed for phones.
We built Wilton Wings & Pizza on custom WordPress without a page builder, so it loads fast. The homepage has the hero photo, the order button and two menu shortcuts. It scores well on Core Web Vitals on a mid-range phone over cellular.
Brand
The rooster logo, refreshed.
We kept the Wilton Wings rooster and cleaned up the logo files. We set the red, black and white as exact colors, paired a tall condensed display face with a plain body font, and added the checkered pattern from the wing baskets.

Online ordering
An online ordering menu by flavor and heat.
The Wilton Wings ordering menu matches the printed one, with wings by count, flavors with heat levels and pizzas by size. Orders go to the restaurant’s own system, and the order button stays on screen on every menu page.

Locations
Location pages for Fort Lauderdale and Sunrise.

Fort Lauderdale is the 2007 original Wilton Wings. Sunrise is the sports bar, with a full liquor bar, pool table, dartboard and nine TVs. Each has its own page with its own phone number, directions and late-night hours, so a “wings near me” search can show the closer one.
About & menu
Awards and menus, easy to find.
The Wilton Wings About page leads with Fort Lauderdale Magazine’s Best Wings and the New Times mention, then the 2007 story. The menu page splits by location. Both end on the same order button.

Tablet & phone
Designed for tablets and phones.
On a tablet, the Wilton Wings layout keeps the photography large for people browsing at home. The phone layout keeps the contact form and the order button within thumb reach for people already on their way.

Brand & local search
Local SEO and Google Business Profile.
We applied the same red and type to the Wilton Wings website and its Google Business Profile. We keep photos, hours and menu links current on the profile.
