Our Story
Grindstone Design was founded by James Price after he launched his first ecommerce business. During that process, he fell in love with building websites and discovered his passion for helping people succeed online.
What started as a simple web design service has evolved into a comprehensive marketing agency that specializes in high-level SEO, conversion rate optimization, and revenue-driven strategies. We've helped over 30 small businesses across the United States grow their online presence and increase their revenue.
A pivotal moment in our company's history was when we built a full-fledged online app for a construction contracting system. It was exciting to not only build a website that displays information, but to add internal backend functionality that provided real business value.

Founder & CEO
James graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in International Business and a minor in Finance and Spanish. He is CXL certified in conversion rate optimization and has been running Grindstone Design for 5 years.
His passion for technology, combined with his love for helping people, made web design and marketing the perfect career choice. James believes in delivering the highest quality work and going above and beyond for every client.
