Patriot Water System
Complete eCommerce solution with wholesale portal and SEO strategy driving 300%+ traffic growth for water filtration systems company
A prettier storefront on a broken offer just loses money faster. So three things get settled before anyone opens Figma: what you sell and at what price, what the product page has to prove to close the sale, and whether your tracking can tell the difference. Then we build the theme. From $3,000 per project, eight weeks from kickoff.
Still choosing a platform? Compare it with WooCommerce development, or see every route in our ecommerce development lineup.
The platform is rarely the problem. Hosting, PCI compliance and Black Friday traffic are solved. These three are not, and none of them get fixed by a new theme.
Every app injects its own scripts into your storefront. Stack ten of them and the mobile product page takes seconds to become usable, on the device most of your traffic arrives from.
Shopify hands you PCI compliance. It does not hand you reviews, shipping times, sizing or a returns policy. Those are the things buyers look for before they add to cart, and most stores bury them in a tab.
Shopify Analytics reports revenue. It will not tell you which collection page, which ad or which product photo produced it. Without that, every change you make after launch is a guess.
Our Position
Shopify makes launching easy, which is exactly why so many stores launch with an untested offer and no way to measure it. Pricing, the product page argument and the analytics get settled first, in writing, before a single screen is designed.
If your new website doesn't outperform your current one, we work for free until it does.
We build on Shopify, on WooCommerce, and from scratch. That is why we can afford to tell you when Shopify is the wrong answer.
Standard catalog, standard cart, standard checkout. Shopify has already built and stress-tested all of it, and what you get is better than a custom build for the same money.
The exceptions: multi-vendor payouts, rental or booking logic, or a price that has to be calculated per order.
Shopify keeps card data on its side of the line and carries the compliance obligation that comes with it.
On a self-hosted store, that liability and the patching schedule attached to it are yours. For most product businesses, this reason alone settles it.
Shopify admin is genuinely usable. Your team can add a product, run a sale and fulfill an order without calling a developer, which matters more than any feature list once we hand over.
We build the theme so the parts you change most, the hero, collections, promo bars and product page blocks, are editable in the theme editor rather than hard-coded.
GA4 and Shopify Events Verified Against Real Orders
Add-to-cart, begin-checkout, search and purchase reconciled against Shopify order data before launch, not assumed working because an app said it was installed
A Product Page Built From the Objections
Reviews, shipping times, returns and sizing on the page instead of inside a tab nobody opens. Written first, designed second
An App Stack Kept Deliberately Short
Every app has to earn both its monthly bill and its script weight. Removing apps is the performance work most stores never do
A 301 Redirect Map on Every Migration
Old product, collection and blog URLs mapped to their new homes before the DNS switch, rather than after rankings drop
Every Account in Your Name
Shopify, domain, GA4, payment gateway and app subscriptions. You could fire us on a Friday and still run the store on Monday
What We Do on a Shopify Build
No line-item menu and no hourly rate. One fixed number covers the lot. Need something wider? Start at website design, or hand the store to us afterwards with website maintenance.
We start from a clean theme and rewrite the templates that carry revenue, rather than bolting a page builder onto a stock theme and hoping.
Payments, shipping, tax and fulfillment configured and then test-ordered, so the first person to find a broken rule is us and not a customer.
Most of your traffic is on a phone and most of your abandonment happens there. The mobile view gets built and tested first, not adapted afterwards.
Every app is a monthly bill and a script on your storefront. We install the fewest that do the job and write custom Liquid where an app would be overkill.
If you cannot tell which page produced the order, you cannot improve anything after launch. Tracking goes in before the design is signed off.
Replatforming off WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce or Squarespace, and Plus builds where B2B or multi-store genuinely requires it.
Shopify ships with far more than any one store needs. These are the settings and the tools that move the number, and how we set them.
Two flows pay for themselves on almost every store: abandoned checkout and post-purchase. Those get written before anything else is installed.
Enough visibility to run the store without a spreadsheet, and not one subscription more.
On launch day the store is a set of hypotheses. We test the expensive ones and leave the cosmetic ones alone.
How the Eight Weeks Are Spent
Every step ends in something you can read, click or test. The person who diagnosed the problem is the person building the fix.
Pricing, margin, shipping thresholds and the two or three objections that kill your sales, ending in one agreed number this build has to move. You get it in writing before design starts.
Existing analytics, internal search terms, checkout drop-off and your support inbox, read for what is losing orders now. If the tracking is broken, this is where we find out.
The two templates that carry the revenue get designed before the homepage. Words and layout are built at the same time, against the number agreed in step one.
You mark up flat designs before anything exists in Liquid. Far better to argue about the product page now than rebuild the template later.
Templates written by hand, with the blocks you will change most exposed in the theme editor so nobody bills you to swap a banner.
Configured and test-ordered, refunds and partial fulfillment included. The app stack is capped here, and you approve every subscription that stays.
Products, variants, images and descriptions loaded with clean data. This is the step that stalls most builds, which is why we ask for it early.
Real devices, real test orders, real refunds. GA4 events reconciled against Shopify order data so the two agree before anyone can buy.
Redirects live at cutover, Search Console and GA4 checked daily for the first two weeks, and the first test queued from what the data shows.
Cost and Schedule
From $3,000 per project, eight weeks from kickoff. Quoted as a fixed number after one call, not an hourly rate that drifts.
All five are visible before we start. You get told which apply and what they add, in writing, instead of quietly missing the date.
One number, agreed before we start. No hourly billing.
Priced before you sign, not discovered halfway through.
You could fire us on a Friday and still run the store on Monday.
You will not be handed to an account manager after signing, and you will not find a junior on your build. James Price audits the offer, writes the Liquid, and reads the analytics after launch. Where a build needs a specialist, we bring one in by name.

Three bills, and only one of them is ours. Shopify charges for the plan, payment processing takes its cut, and apps are the third. Check Shopify's current rates directly before you budget, because they change. Apps are the line we control: every app we install has to justify its monthly cost and the scripts it adds to your storefront, and we tell you which of your existing ones to cancel. Your Shopify account and every app subscription sit in your name, so you can cancel anything without asking us.
Yes. Catalog size and traffic spikes are problems Shopify solved years ago, and they are not what your budget should go on. What breaks as you grow is merchandising. A catalog in the thousands with no collection logic, no filters and no search tuning buries the products that actually sell. If your catalog is large, we build collections, filters and search synonyms from your sales data before a single page gets designed.
On the storefront, almost anything. Themes are Liquid, so layout, product pages, collection templates and cart behavior are all ours to rewrite by hand. Checkout is the honest limit. On standard plans you get branding and a defined set of checkout extensions, not a checkout built from scratch. That is a fair trade for not owning PCI compliance yourself, and if your requirements genuinely need Shopify Plus we will tell you before you sign rather than after.
James Price. The person who audits your offer is the person who writes the Liquid and the person who reads the analytics after launch. No account manager relaying messages, and no junior handed the file once the contract is signed. 8 years in conversion optimization and web design, CXL Institute certified in conversion optimization. Where a build needs a specialist we bring one in by name, and you will know who and what for.
Yes, and the redirect map is most of the job. We move products, variants, customers and order history, then map every old URL to its new home before the DNS switch rather than after rankings drop. That means collections and blog posts, not just product pages. Search Console and GA4 are connected beforehand so we can watch the crawl move. What we will not do is promise your rankings hold flat through a replatform. We show you what moved and fix what dropped.
Sometimes. Shopify Plus has native B2B, including company accounts, customer-specific price lists and payment terms, and it is genuinely good. Below Plus you are stitching wholesale onto a retail platform with apps, and it gets fragile fast. If your business runs on quotes, approvals and negotiated pricing per account, we will tell you whether that is a Plus build or whether a custom application would serve you better. We build both, so we have no reason to push you toward one.
Thirty minutes with the person who would build it. You leave with an honest read on whether Shopify is right for you, including when the answer is no.
